lagos State the Center of Excellence is a city built with so many atoms of beauty but over the years, Lagos has lost its lustre due to so many reasons such as political problems, corruption e.t.c. The new regime of Babatunde Fashola is pioneered at re-structuring Lagos State to turn it into a Mega City. However, this has left some people smiling while some crying. The demolition of houses by the govenor has caused so much pain to the victims but is the action for a good cause?
A brief outline of all the projects that the governor has accomplished includes the reconstruction of roads, the Bus Rapid Transit, the drenching and removal of waste on our canal, the land use charge policy, property investigation exercise, demolition of houses under high tension wires. All these are done to implement the stated plan to turn Lagos into a Mega City.
Though it may seem as an act of cruelty but in actual sense it is a blessing in disguise. The Lagos State Governor will execute innovative plans and projects that has been deliberated and approved to promote the development of the state. Through this process, Lagos State can be a renowned tourist center attracting people from all over the world.
